A group of neighbors turned travel crew turned content creators. Same cul-de-sac, different perspectives, one mission: find the good stuff.
How It Started
It started the way most good things do: somebody suggested a trip and nobody said no.
We’re a group of neighbors from the same Sacramento cul-de-sac. Different backgrounds, different careers, different opinions about the correct level of spice on street tacos. But we share the same restlessness, the same curiosity, and the same refusal to accept that the best years are behind us.
What started as weekend barbecues and driveway conversations turned into group trips. The trips turned into stories. The stories turned into this site. The Sac Life is our way of documenting what happens when a crew of friends decides to explore the world together and share what they find.
We cover travel (obviously), food (obsessively), music (passionately), and culture (broadly). We write about the places we go, the things we eat, the shows we see, and the experiences that remind us why we bother leaving the house in the first place.
